If the company you choose does not have Workers Compensation then you will be held liable for injures by law. Another thing you should look for is liability insurance. This insurance was designed to pay for all damages caused by the company you hire. As long as you the homeowner check for these two things you can at least have peace of mind knowing that you did everything possible to make the job worry free.
